There’s no doubt that Fossil, the American fashion brand focuses much on the latest styles trending in the market. But that’s not to say the brand is all modern fashion influences – you’ll actually find a number of Fossil timepieces hinting at the vintage designs that stand out and attract you with their elegance.
My encounter with all things Fossil came about during my college days about ten years ago when I received a Fossil watch as a gift. It was the Fossil Coachman Chronograph Black Leather CH2564 Men’s Watch. It was an uncommon timepiece in that it had a blue-tinted dial.
Back then during my student days, it was the only watch I had and I wore it almost every day. Although it is a large watch at 45mm case diameter, the metallic rivets and stitched leather strap give it a sturdy and rugged look.
Leo wanted a simple watch without the flashy looks and found the Fossil Coachman Chronograph CH2564 was perfect for his needs. It is easy to read the time on this watch with the large hands and hour markers. The watch features a chronograph and a tachymeter scale along with a date window.
Although there is 100m water resistance rating on this timepiece I have tried to keep mine protected from water all these years. Hopefully, Leo’s new purchase should keep up to the reputation that my trusty Fossil Coachman Chronograph has earned – of being a sturdy and accurate timekeeper with a blend of the modern and vintage design aspects.
